Headlight Restoriation
Restore Clarity, Visibility and Appearance
Cloudy, yellowed headlights don’t just detract from the appearance of a vehicle. They can also reduce the brightness and clarity of the headlights, affecting visibility while driving at night or in poor weather. In Great Detail’s professional Headlight Restoration service removes the oxidation that causes headlights to become cloudy and discolored, restoring a clearer, brighter appearance.
More Than a Temporary Fix
Many quick-fix headlight restoration products rely on coatings or chemicals that temporarily mask discoloration rather than removing the underlying oxidation. Once those coatings begin to break down, the cloudy, yellowed appearance can return.
In Great Detail takes a different approach. With 40 years of professional detailing experience in West Chester, the company uses a multi-step restoration process designed to remove the oxidation itself, rather than simply cover it up.
A Professional Restoration Process
Before restoration begins, the paint surrounding each headlight is carefully taped off and protected.
The headlights then undergo a two-step sanding process using both heavy and fine grit to remove the opaque, yellowed oxidation and reach the clear, unaffected layer of the lens beneath it.
Once the oxidation has been removed, the headlights are compounded and polished to restore clarity and shine.
The result is a dramatically improved appearance along with clearer, brighter headlights and improved visibility.
Backed by a 2-Year Guarantee
In Great Detail stands behind its Headlight Restoration service with a 2-year guarantee.
If the headlights begin to yellow again within two years of the restoration, simply bring the vehicle back to In Great Detail and they will be restored again at no additional cost.
Clearer headlights. Better visibility. A better-looking vehicle.

No reason to look anywhere else. First of all, my kids completely destroyed the interior of my car with food, crayons, you name it. The leather on the doors were stained with god knows what. In Great Detail made my car look brand new. Not only that but they were super easy to deal with and accommodating. Highly recommend!
